wale - back to the feature...(review)

DC rapper, Wale dropped another mixtape this week, "Back To The Feature". Deemed hip hop's Valedictorian of the freshman class, Wale reached out to others to deliver something worth listening to. Collabing with major producer 9th wonder really added a soulful flair to the tracks. With this being Wale's 5th mixtape, he is showing a more positive side to hip hop. In the mixtape, he describes himself as a cocky rapper and he wanted to back that up by having a mixtape that speaks on his behalf. Wale shows diversity by having heavyweight features from Freeway, Bun B, Big Sean, Talib Kweli and many more. Signing to Jay-Z's ROC Nation, Wale continues to prove himself by staying true to real hip hop.
