Understand Who He Is...

I was blog surfing and found this and thought it was necessary for you to know...If Charles Barkley asked on TNT if anyone knew Ronnie Fields is, do you think the world would know? People in Chicago know exactly who he is. Ronnie is a basketball legend that arguably could have been up there with Mike Jordan. 

Ronnie played at Farragut Academy from '92-'96. In the '95 season, he teamed with NBA star Kevin Garnett. Fields had a 50 inch vertical and amazing stats to go along with it. In high school he averaged 34 pts, 12 rebs, 4 stls, 4 ast and 4 blks a game. Signed with DePaul University in Chicago but was academically ineligible. In February of  1996, Fields was in a bad car accident which broke his neck and had him in a brace. Without the grades and an injury, Fields has been bouncing around in developmental leagues since...I along with a whole city wish he had of made it cause he was truly a gift to the court.
