clipes x kanye...

Nike never fails...when the video first came out, i was told that there would be an extended version...P Rod kills this commercials along with some cameos.
this time maestro is touring around berlin.
this morning i got a message on the twitter (@FredTheCooL) by someone who reads the blog and liked the post i did a few weeks ago about the fashion geek shirt of michael jackson. they then hit me with the newest commercial for fashion geek...its time to GEEK someone!
Chicago Gets Geeked from LisaP Maxwell on Vimeo.

cool kids run s#!t. ive been a cool kids fan since day 1. there was no second guessing that. they sound is like no other bullish thats out. on to some more news...the cool kids have recently dropped a mixtape "gone fishing" which i listen to everyday. even with it being a mixtape, they have just finished shooting a video for the song "champions". snooping around on a few sites, i found this pic of sir mike and chuck is dope on the set for the video. chuck had this LIVE '95 piece specially made for him...i want one!

the commercial was already addictive enough...now i found out that they have an actual song and dance for it.
i like to see videos like this. it lets me know that i can really make it in life. it wasnt too long ago when this dude Don C worked at Marshall Fields and Ibn Jasper was cutting hair in a barbershop...this is just a quick video of ibn and don c showing of their LV shoes which were named after them by kanye west...
saw this commercial one morning and actually started dancing (dont judge me...lol). Baskin-Robbins has something catchy and im pretty sure people will be on this soon, if not already.
spotted the video on Fresh-N-Proper and decided to take a look. i cant even lie, FUBU was popping and i had my fair share of it. i really didnt know about the money that they were making. with me wanting to do my own line, i look at this video and realize that i dont want to be something of just an era. timeless is my approach. i respect what they did and how they did it. it takes risk and maybe a few investments (still looking for those...lol)...
yesterday, FuseTV aired Kanye West performing at the Chicago Theatre. the show was happened about a month ago for The Kanye West Foundation. i didnt get a chance to see it but thankfully technology allows me to see it on the internet.
i dont want to be one of those bloggers that has a lot of gossip on there but this i had to post. clicking around different sites, i see this pic of ass out jeans...the jeans im not really surprised about, its just where the pic was taken at...FAMU (Florida A&M University). i was kinda shocked that this pic was taken on a college campus. i attend AAMU (Alabama A&M University) another black college and if its at FAMU, i think it aint to far from us...SMH.

every day im looking for new material to throw on the blog. sometimes i like stuff that make raise an eyebrow...when i saw this video, it raised mine but in a good way cause i like people that speak their mind. mr. chi city, a video blogger, goes in on keri hilson.
i knew the day would come that the video was going to be out. LeBron that dude but its too much technology out here these days to think that 2 tapes from reporters wasnt going to show him getting dunked on...i told people it was coming so here it is...
i remember when it used to be Kanye wanting to wear the Roc-A-Fella chain...now Jay wearing Kanye's signature Jesus piece and its the black one at that! (so cold)maestro is back again for season 2 of maestro knows. this time he is overseas getting it in. every episode will be posted.
i know im late and its all over the place but i still wanted to post it cause i like the song and the video is dope. this was well put together...(glad it wasnt like the drake video)
P.Rod is back on my blog again. Nike SB composes a commercial for him and his new shoes. the commercial is set to air today during the Maloof Money Cup on NBC. Dope video with a classic song playing in the background..."today was a good day"... they had to throw the homie in the video at the end...

here it is...if you follow the blog then you know that i have made post about polo. i like ralph lauren but i just choose not to wear it. if you going to do it, then do it right. ive been jumping from blog to blog and seen my homie Jose Hustle everywhere with the Been Had Polo video. this dude went polo crazy and this aint the polo from the barbershop or beauty supply store...lol...for all the polo fanatics...catch up. plus, the video is funny as hell. google Jose Hustle...LOL
g-shock is about to start making a big push in the media for their watches. i caught this video of stevie williams promoting g-shock and not to mention DGK. he still one of the best skaters to me.
i want to start off by saying EVERYONE is on the "despicable me" by pharrell (previous post). S#!t is banging. anyway, on my way home from the wedding yesterday, i was on ubertwitter and seen that my main man maestro put out a video. not a full one but just a sample of whats to come in his season 2. he just finished the tour edition serious and is ready to bounce back.
malice of the clipse has been doing some mini video blogs about things that has happened in his life. he speaks about the things he knows. to be honest, i didnt know he was such a deep dude. very intellectual and more than a rapper. this is his new installment..."young nigga this is you"
Malice Video Blog 5 from Malice of the Clipse on Vimeo.

if you dont know about Big Sean than you are sorely slacking...catch up..."big business, respect my conglomerate"
i like to express my opinion on the blog so here we go again. A LOT of people dont know who John Mayer is. A LOT of people are just now getting to know him because he killed that performance at michael jackson's funeral playing human nature (see performance here). during that performance people on facebook were updating statuses like crazy saying "who is this white boy on the guitar?" its those same people that know every word to gucci mane mixtape...whomp...ANYWAY, saw this over at Fresh-N-Proper and thought i had to post this. John wants to play the guitar to Jay-Z's D.O.A? I AM READY FOR IT. you can see the quick response from questlove...cant wait...gotta love twitter too.
i been on it for a while and a lot of people are just catching up but the young man diggy is on the same mission i am and thats to bring something new to the fashion game. diggy has been on fashion for as long as i can remember. a lot of people are now starting to hop on since they watch runs house now. if you can remember the old episode where he walked in his uncle russle's office and pharrell was in there. thats when he pitched his idea and really got things rolling. word is, diggy will be interning for bbc/ice cream. he only a freshman in hs. if you watch the show now, diggy be bbc'd and ice cream'd out. he even ichats with pharrell. young man getting things done. the picture is of diggy in a recent meeting with his creative team and head designer. all i can say is good luck fam. the sisters had great success and now its his turn. i just need an XL in shirts. thank you.
Q and Dawn are starting to be everywhere. jay and b, kanye and amber now these 2. i dont know if its gon happen to me, but to find someone you can put up with...lol...all luck to you. speaking of that, i got a wedding to go to this weekend...hmmm...that should be interesting. shout out to my 3 friends Diddy, Bee and AsH...we going to have a good time.

levi maestro has been on tour with anthony hamilton. the tour edition videos have been crazy cause he is all over the place. this is the last episode of the tour editon. he is in ATL for his bday with inTYnational of Oceans 7 (do your homework). shout out to Standard in ATL. then they finished in NC. from a recent post you can tell that i ready for season 2 already. im trying to decide if i want to do my own video blog...something still thinking about. but unil then just watch the video.
Jay performs the intro to Blueprint 3. this has been everywhere on the net but i decided to post it cause im going to see Hov tomorrow in Atlanta. i aint been this excited in a while. Mykhail and Boog said that its life changing. i've seen Mike Jackson, Hammer and even Prince but never Hov. Now i can add him to the list of greats.
seen this before but THESE pics got me going crazy. the sears tower opened a glass balcony called "the ledge" for public viewing. ive lived in chicago for 18 1/2 years of my life (could be more but im away at school...anyway) i have NEVER been to the sears tower but more than ever now do i want to go and see this...oh but i am afraid of heights though, so we will see how this works.
